The Bohemian-Moravian Borderlands also has something to offer in the field of congress tourism. The European Training Centre in Litomyšl was established by an architecturally successful reconstruction of the buildings of the former brewery situated in the near vicinity of the Renaissance castle. The European Training Centre offers several multifunctional halls and classrooms, plus accommodation in two price categories. In addition to conducting seminars and congresses, the centre also offers the provision of cultural programme or options on how to spend your leisure time actively or simply relax.
Multifunctional educational and cultural centre Fabrika Svitavy opened in 2008, was established thanks to extensive reconstruction work on the former textile factory in the centre of the city. This facility offers the possibility of organising conferences and training in a large congress hall for more than four-hundred persons and other auditoriums and classrooms. The entire complex also includes a library, restaurant and internet café.
