The Bohemian-Moravian Borderlands also offer a number of possibilities for sports, either on a professional or recreational level. In addition to numerous cycling trails, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, stadiums, bowling and squash centres, there are also two modern sports halls in the region with parameters for holding international sports events. The sports hall Na Střelnici in Svitavy and the City Sports Hall in Litomyšl have hosted a number of significant international representation matches and tournaments. They are also frequently used for representation team meetings or youth sports clubs from the entire Czech Republic and abroad.
