The unique sports park Svitavský stadion was completed in September 2010. The basic idea was to create a multi-functional leisure area, where there will be areas for practicing performance sports as well as places for recreational activities, games and relaxation.
Svitavský stadium offers plenty of opportunities for active leisure time for children, adults and seniors, locals and visitors to the city. In addition to a football field and facilities for athletics, the sports park offers an inline skating rink, playgrounds for small and older children, tennis courts with a tennis club, an area for ball sports, a fitness field for seniors, a hockey stadium and a pétanque field.
In addition to sports fields, the complex also has two restaurants with outdoor seating areas and a large parking lot for motorized visitors. An interesting addition are the wooden sculptures on the theme of "movement", which you can also see while walking through the Svitava sports park.
